Stratford Sports Club, of which Stratford Cricket Club is incorporated, has looked to provide a better membership experience for members and also to make life easier for the volunteers and paid staff. As part of a Sports Club wide technology upgrade this season a new membership system has been launched. This has meant some changes to how membership fees can be paid as follows:
You now have four payment options:
- Annual direct debit (preferred)
- Debit/credit card
- BACS transfer
Payment by annual direct debit: paying by direct debit automatically updates our membership system, saving us heaps of time behind the scenes. Our club is run by volunteers and a few paid members of staff and by signing up to direct debit you will help massively in keeping costs and time spent on our annual membership renewal process to a minimum. If you sign up to direct debit, next March/April you will not need to do anything as we will automatically collect your fees (you will be notified before we collect).
The bank details to set up a direct debit are as follows:
- Lloyds Bank
- Account name: Stratford Sports Membership Account
- Account number: 70634568
- Sort code: 30-98-26
- Ref: Your name / Cricket Club
We are presently not offering a monthly direct debit option due to the seasonal nature of cricket.
Payment by debit/credit card: we understand that not everyone wishes to sign up for direct debit so if you wish to pay by debit or credit card please click here.
Payment by BACS transfer: please use the bank details as above. Please do remember to state your name/Cricket Club on the reference.
Payment by cheque (not a preferred method): please make cheques payable to Stratford Sports Club and either drop them into the Sports Club office for the attention of Sheila Phipps or post them to her at Stratford Sports Club, Swans Nest Lane, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 7LS. Again please remember to state your name/Cricket Club as a reference.
If you have any questions please contact the Membership Secretary, Richard Sykes, by email: email@example.com.
New members will be issued with an electronic key fob which will provide access to the Sports Club. An annual parking pass, providing free parking within the Sports Club and Cricket Ground car parks, will also be provided to all senior and student members.
If you are renewing your membership, your existing key fob or key card will be reactivated on receipt of your subscription payment. All existing benefits will be reinstated at that point.
If you have lost or damaged your existing fob or card, please contact us for a replacement. Replacements are charged at £5 each.
Finally on behalf of all the Cricket Committee, we look forward to seeing you at Swans Nest Lane or Alscot Park, once the season gets underway at the end of April.
