Club nets are now available to book for hourly slots by club members. You can find a link to the booking form on the club WhatsApp group or in the recent email (the form also includes the code for the padlocks, which may be changed from time to time).

Before booking or attending nets, please read this important information to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

Please see the below email from our chairman:

As you will no doubt be aware, the ECB have issued guidelines for the re-opening of practice nets.

The Club has decided to open up one of our nets which can be used by you, but only strictly in accordance with the attached regulations.

These may seem restrictive, but they simply comply with guidance issued to us by both the ECB and the Government and also with common sense. Please adhere to them at all times. Should this facility be abused then we will be forced to close it immediately. The committees of both the Cricket Club and the Sports Club have statutory liabilities and owe a duty of care to those using our facilities, and we are not prepared to put such liabilities at risk.

I hope that you can all now enjoy the great weather with a bat or ball in your hand and work hard on those skills that you will need just as soon as we are allowed to put them into practice again.

All the best, and enjoy yourselves – responsibly of course!!
