The club is delighted to share that, as revealed in this Thursday’s Stratford Herald, former England coach Andy Flower has begun working with our senior teams. Primarily helping out at our 1st team net sessions, he has also been attending our Thursday night club nets.

Flower led England to the #1 rankings across all three formats, a maiden limited overs trophy and three consecutive Ashes victories before stepping down from the role in January. In his playing days, he represented Zimbabwe in 63 Tests, finishing with a Test average in excess of 50 and was the #1 ranked batsman for a time.

The club is extremely grateful that he has offered his expertise and look forward to working with him to achieve the club’s on-field goals this season.

For an interview with Flower plus words from our chairman Steve Cootes, please pick up a copy of this week’s Herald.
