The Cricket World Cup is coming to Stratford-upon-Avon on Thursday 18th April as part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy Tour, driven by Nissan.

To celebrate, Warwickshire Cricket Board will be holding an under 11 cricket festival featuring youngsters from a number of local cricket clubs at Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club’s Swans Nest Lane ground from 2pm until 4pm.

Refreshments will be available and there will be an opportunity to get your photo taken with the trophy that 10 nations will be competing for in England and Wales this summer.

Stratford-upon-Avon Cricket Club has a thriving junior section and will be running four teams (under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 15) this season, as well as coaching for children aged 5-8 through the All Stars Cricket initiative and a newly launched girls’ section.
